Participants who followed this advice for two weeks felt happier, more satisfied, less stressed by the COVID-19 pandemic and less depressed than a control group. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is looking to identify local education agencies (LEAs) for their Comprehensive Health Educator Core Knowledge and Skills (C.H.E.C.K.S.) professional development study in order to develop and test a professional development package designed for secondary health educators. C.H.E.C.K.S. identifies essential knowledge and skills for delivering health education and uses a blended-learning, skill-based model to help teachers build their competencies in effective instruction.
